Jeffrey Shapiro is a trusted advocate and advisor in matters involving complex commercial disputes, fiduciary litigation, and personal wealth planning.
Before joining the firm, Jeffrey served as Clerk to the New York State Senate Committee on Consumer Protection. Jeffrey was later selected for the nationally recognized Sandman Fellowship at the Institute of Aging and Disability, where he focused on legal issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities. During this time, Jeffrey also served as Director of the Albany Veterans Pro Bono Project. Jeffrey was recognized for his trial advocacy skills as the recipient of the Karen C. McGovern Best Oral Advocate Award. Jeffrey currently serves as a Director of the Warren County Bar Association and as a volunteer for the University of Albany Mock Trial program.
Jeffrey received his higher education locally, earning his B.A. from the University at Albany and his J.D. from Albany Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
