
Principal
Ms. Watkins was born in York, Pennsylvania in 1952. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1983. Her preparatory education was at Duquesne University and Pennsylvania State University where she received her B.S. with distinction in 1974. Ms. Watkins’ legal education was at Albany Law School of Union University where she received her J.D. cum laude in 1982. While in law school, Ms. Watkins was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Albany Law Review, (1981-1982), and was selected to be a member of the Justinian Society. Following law school she was an Appellate Court Attorney, New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division (1982-1983.)
Ms. Watkins joined the firm in 1983, and has been a principal since 1989.
Ms. Watkins is a member of the Warren County and New York State Bar Associations. She is the past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association and past co-chair of its subcommittee on Professionalism & Unauthorized Practice of Law.
Ms. Watkins has served on the Board of Directors of the Warren County Bar Foundation, the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation’s Planned Giving Council, the Board of Directors of the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra and the Adirondack Girl Scout Council.
